LOWELL, Mass. -- August 27, 2026 - Scheidt & Bachmann USA, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of global fare collection provider Scheidt & Bachmann GmbH, today announced it has been selected through a competitive procurement process by NEORide to provide cash farebox systems to its member agencies. NEORide is a regional council of governments representing 45 public transit agencies across 13 states.
The award reflects NEORide’s confidence in Scheidt & Bachmann’s ability to deliver reliable, scalable, and future-ready farebox systems that support the operational needs of a diverse network of transit agencies.
